Still not enough Vitamins

We had two matches against the Vitamin-tanks.

1st:

vbz: bamf, leviathan

score: 6-0 to vbz
This one was actually the first 20 minutes match in the history of the league. Especially in the beginning we fought very hard and nearly managed to cap the Vitamin-flag. In fact the first 5 minutes where pretty equal. But then ... Vbz woke up and capped twice in a very short interval which broke our morale a bit.

A 4vs4 is not often - this was one of the rare occasions. The match was very funny and I found that I'm not the only person that get's easily confused if so many tanks are driving around. Many selfkills on both sides brought some unexpected moments into the game. One of us (I don't remember who it was - at least not me) managed to stay cool and dodged a hail of bullets carrying their flag to our base.
Let's praise the unknown capper.

as luna had to go, and vbz asked for re, i had to step in his boots. bamf was sure we would loose: as in his words: this time u will go down, i answered: get ready for your second loss. it turns out i was so right. once again me and admir managed to find our way to victory, with good teamplay and knowing your teammate. great match!

hard fought match, i think there was like 5 minute period at one point when score was 1-1 when both flags were at the center and teams were fighting to get em to their side. i possibly ruined a change for a tie when going to vbz flag in their corner at one point, but i was going for a win. nice match still.

this was match was actually pretty close one, we were very close to a tie, but pommes got killed just before crossing the line. in my oppinion pommes played really well in this one.

Well, I got my first and second dose of VBZ, and let me tell you, it didn't go down as smoothly as it could have :) First match, jh^ and I did pretty well, still lost 4-0, but it was really fun. Since the second match had 2 more people in it, we were a little more overwhelmed. Now that I look at the records, it seems VBZ can be a really hard team! Its ok though, we're always up for a challenge, and it was fun experience altogether.

i was very sleepy and played really. sc did great in the first match. she had a good personal score and kept the match very close for a long time. But at the end of the first match vbz capped several times.

the second match wasnt good of us right from the start. i think i infected sc with my tiredness. once they got our flag .. they just drove with it to our base without any troubles. i felt like a noob :)

match1: score was 3-2 to bzi, actually the final cap came like 30 secs to end when vbz was carrying our flag to their base, fortunately i was able to get vbz flag from levi/bamf (didnt check who it was) when he was trying to carry it off from near our base and cap it, so this was a close call.

match2: score was 3-1 to vbz. we were few times close to capping our second, until about 8 mins to end this game was too very even, but then vbz guys managed to win this one. nice games both.

VBZ match

Basically, they outskilled us. They had a very effective way of attacking us, which worked very well indeed. We came close once to make a capture - not nearly enough to win this one.

both were good and close fights, both sides played well. map was nice, both sides had nice lil tight corner to stick the flag in, it was hard to get it outta there. anyway, good games.

The first match was very thrilling, containing great performance from both teams. During the last seconds BZ-inc was carrying the other flag to the base, but the countdown expired a few seconds too early - what a bummer! But it was a very enjoyable match.

It started like the first match ended, and Bzi got the first cap very early. But after 15 minutes, Vbz showed that they were born to kill, so the players of Bzi had no possibility to stay on the field for more than 5 seconds.
But the weather was nice and [dmp] distributed some cold beers among the stressed players after the game.

Bamf and benny wouldn't even let us get CLOSE their flag, the big meanies. Nicely played match though. Pritty's shots were quite pretty.

3 for vbz

The first match started horribly with 3 caps for vbz inside the first 7 minutes and a fourth not long afterwards. We did manage to rally fairly impressively before the end and put in a couple of quick caps before the end but it was an easy win for vbz. On finishing the match it was discovered that a horrible mistake had been made and Sportchick had actually been asleep the whole match. She'd somehow managed to get a reasonable number of kills despite this but in light of such circumstances the result was unsurprising.

Once this had been rectified a second match was started wherein Sportchick tried to make up for the previous one by being both bzi tanks at once, I dutifully obliged by spending almost the entirety of the match dead. The experiment was a partial success as we managed to sneak away a three all draw from impending defeat.

For the first match there were finally two distinct and cognizant bzi tanks and what resulted was an extremely close and interesting match. Two captures each were exchanged, mainly down to who had the better spawns before a very unusual ending. BZI launched a glorious attack with Sportchick managing to get the flag within a gnat's whisker of our base before being dramatically shot. Leviathan, much relieved, drove through our base to pick it back up and inadvertently captured it on the instant of picking it up. There was no time for a response and so the match finished as a 3-2 win for us.

Are vitamins really necessary?

You know, all my life, I've HATED getting sick. It's the worst form of torture for someone like me. I dislike being immobile, naps, doctors and especially, taking any sort of pills. Shots aren't so fun either, but at least I don't gag when taking them.

So, what about self-inflicted torture, like taking vitamins. They say they are good for you - they keep away illness. So if you pre-emptively take them, you're supposed to be all good. But is this really true? There are, as with anything, a variety of opinions - some say it's true, some say it "aint". The question is - is it right for you?

Today, in anticipation of matching none other than Vitamin Bz, I took my vitamins. While it certainly didn't seem to hurt (not too much anyway), it didn't help. I was forced to take another VBZ pill. BzInc (should we, perhaps change our names to Vitamin I?) fought hard. The match was very close even down to the last 4-5 minutes. But just as Admir and I were about to push for an amazing comeback, tragedy struck!

{Insert sidebar}Now, for those of you who don't know, Admir has been in the process of hiring a lynch mob. So, as I was saying, with 4:44 remaining in the match, the unimaginable happened...

We waited to see if it would drop, but in the absence of the lynch mob, we were forced to hunt down another bzi to finish the match.

The Good Nutrition

To make the story short: They shot us alot. We didnt shoot them as much. They captured alot (4 times), captured once. I think the word is; They won.

So what can we do to fight this evil axis of good nutrition? I dont know, but this is interesting:

The B vitamins are important in metabolic (say: meh-tuh-bah-lik) activity - this means that they help make energy and set it free when your body needs it. So the next time you're running to third base, thank those B vitamins. This group of vitamins is also involved in making red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout your body. Every part of your body needs oxygen to work properly, so these B vitamins have a big job.
